Pitch to the Chief™

The 2024 Edition of Pitch to the Chief™ sponsored by Tactical Distributors Canada

Theme/Challenge Statement: Improving Operational Efficiencies in Policing

Pitch to the Chief™ is a competitive pitch competition, hosed in partnership with the Cobourg Police Service (CPS) and NCFDC, sponsored by Tactical Distributors Canada. Successful applicants will have the unique opportunity to showcase the proposed solutions or technologies that promise to positively impact operational efficiencies within police services.

The V13 Policetech Accelerator is proud to present the 2024 Edition of Pitch to the Chief™, sponsored by Tactical Distributors Canada. This event offers a unique view of novel technologies in the first responder marketplace that offer valuable operational efficiencies for police services. The competition allows early-stage companies an opportunity to present their innovative ideas in front of a panel of Ontario Police Chiefs.

The panel will consider adoption of new products, services, strategies, and collaborative approaches to enhancing efficiencies within policing. The winning venture will take home a $30,000 Grand Prize Package ($5,000 cash, a $25,000 investment from NCFDC, and further in-kind opportunities, including co-location at Venture13, pilot projects, and more).

Partners, investors, police services, technology incubators/accelerators, and members of the community are welcome to join us as part of the live studio audience at the Innovation Commons at Venture13 on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024.
