Policetech Accelerator Attracts Innovation Champions to Venture13
The V13 Policetech Accelerator team is of course incredibly excited that innovation champion Jeffrey Haskins has joined the Cobourg Police Service, under Chief Paul VandeGraaf. Haskins was recently sworn in as Deputy Chief by the Cobourg Police Services Board at a ceremony at historic Victoria Hall in Cobourg on November 10th, 2021. Part of the background story of talent attraction is the police technology accelerator platform we have built at Venture13: a strategic initiative that drives collaborative innovation in community safety. As Haskins remarked, “When I started to do my research on Cobourg, I found that innovation and progressive leadership is part of their DNA.”
