thriveFORWARD Portfolio Companies

Portfolio Companies

NCFDC’s thriveFORWARD initiative co-invests in industrial innovation capital, in talent and technology. Whether through established firms (SMEs) or very early-stage emerging ventures (Start-ups), our purpose is to encourage entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs to take risks, to develop new IP, to commercialize new products, services and processes that will strengthen competitive advantage and the ability of firms to grow and create jobs. Their success in critical sectors—from cleantech, medtech, biotech, deeptech, food production and advanced manufacturing to digital industries, fintech and cybersecurity—yields multiples for the regional economy in southern Ontario.

With the support of FedDev Ontario and the Government of Canada, we are pleased to report that the following companies have successfully secured matching, non-repayable, performance-based funding from the thriveFORWARD initiative.
